The term “Internet of Things” (IoT for short) describes the concept of networking a very large number of very small systems and using them in everyday private and industrial life. The goal of the lecture is to explain the peculiarities and challenges of current IoT environments. The following structure is used: 1. Connectivity, 2. Sensing, 3. Communication, 4. Analysis, 5. Intelligence / Action, 6. Ecosystem.
